Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig Sept. 21 in 1983) is an acclaimed American actress. She is most famously known for her role was the character Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV series as well as Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. She was born in Worthington in Ohio. She was kicked out of school after her parents divorced to go into Los Angeles to live with her mother. She landed her debut role in the film, Rachel's Room's main character in 2001, despite having a difficult time financially. Taken 2 (2012), Taken 3 2014 and Taken 4 (2014) were her reprises of characters. Grace played the role of Shannon in two more episodes of Lost which included the finale of the series. Gyllenhaal was first introduced as a director and writer in 2021 with her psychological drama The Lost Daughter. For this movie, she received with the Best Screenplay Award at the Venice International Film Festival and was nominated for an Academy Award.
