Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri was an Indian actress, who gained fame for her role in Hum Aapke Hain Koun as well as Beta Saajan. Her first fame was her role in Tezaab from the 1980s, in which she co-starred alongside the veteran actor Anil Koopor. In the next film, Dil, Aamir Khan appeared as well. Born into the Mumbai middle-class family, and began to dance in her early years. Early in her life, as she began to act as a child actress, most of the films she produced were not successful. The actress gained fame and was one of India's top movie actresses. Following her marriage she had a break in her career before re-entering the business. She was recently one of the main characters in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit was nominated fifteen times in the Filmfare Awards. She won 8 of them. Padma Shri was awarded to her, which is the fourth most prestigious civil award in India. Her reputation also includes for social activism.
